LIC AAO Syllabus 2016 Online Test Pattern

LIC India will be conducting online-examination for recently announced 700 AAO vacancies. Further interview & medical examination to be conducted for qualifiers for online test. Examination for LIC AAO posts is scheduled to be held in March 2016. Call letters for online exam will be declared for Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist) candidates in last week of February month.

So if you’re going to enroll for this recruitment then you would be surely going through the details of
LIC AAO Online Test Syllabus
for year 2016. However the exam conducting body hasn’t revised the pattern yet it’s worthy to share. Same as 95% of competitive tests, this exam to have objective type questions.
  • Exam Mode: Online (Computer Based Test)
  • Duration of Online Test: 2 Hours (120 minutes)
  • Questions to be answered: 160 Ques.
  • Maximum Marks for the online AAO Exam: 300 Marks.
The selection test will be available in English language. Questions will be divided in five sections. Four sections carries 30 marks each while the last one has 40 questions.

English language test is just for qualifying purpose. Marks for English language section won’t be counted in merit list.
Negative Marking: Yeah! it’s involved. For each wrong entry in objective test, one fourth (1/4) of the marks assigned to that particular question will be deducted. Following the rules of negative marking, if an answer is left unfilled then it won’t attract any negative points.
Candidates need to qualify in each portion of the online test and also required to secure the minimum marks in the aggregate to be part of personal interview. Cut off marks will be decided later by the LIC India. There will be no waiting list for this recruitment.
Pre-Examination Training for candidates from Reserved Categories: Candidates coming from OBC/SC/ST categories can avail the benefits of PET (Pre Exam Training) where they have to attend the training on their own expenses. As name suggests, it is organized before the exam. Venue & dates for PET will be notified later.
